About Us
Garburn was named after the pass connecting the Kentmere and Troutbeck valleys in the English Lake District. In September 2004, we organised the first Garburn Trail Race, connecting Staveley and Windermere with the stunning Garburn pass.
We have been operating in the French Alps for three years, but after organising the Garburn Trail Race, it was a simple decision to combine all our operations under the one name.
The event management side of the business has increased to four events with the Lakeland Trails 2007 series at Hawkshead, Garburn, Derwentwater and Coniston.
